Broome to Fitzroy Crossing
Day 22 – August 10,
2014 – Broome to Fitzroy Crossing - distance travelled: 401 kms - 32oC
high; 14oC low. After
breakfast we gathered the dry clothes from the line, packed up and moved on to
our next destination, Fitzroy Crossing. The
landscape changed somewhat, with boab trees appearing as well as countless
yellowish termite mounds. We reached the
recommended Fitzroy River Lodge around 4:30pm and pitched our tents in their
camping area. Supper in the camp
kitchen, talking to fellow travellers and blog work before going to bed.
